Education- as important as it is, it has never been served round to reach the children of the under priviledged.
I have heard of several policies on Education some say free education, some say interactive education, some compulsory education but of all what will be considered the best form of education? the free? the interactive? the compulsory?
During my posting to a community school in Ebonyi as a youth corp member on the National Youth Service, where education was meant to be free and... ( lire plus...)

To me, TIG is a place for us to share information and ideas, to raise our voice and get involved in the world's issues. In other words, it acts on our awareness and connect us together. Once we are together, whether we do something or not is totally up to us. In other words, TIG is a mean for inspiring people to achieve their goals, it's definitely not all that we need. I'm inspired by the amount of strength, persistence, and resistance that people have despite what they are up against. There are many stories of resistance to colonialism but resistance to me means treating each other well and not being afraid to challenge the ways of thinking that divide us e.g. challenging racism, sexism, homophobia, ableism etc. I believe that as people we can move a lot farther ahead if we change the linear ways of thinking that work to divide us and we must see how we...
